BISS Puxi’s Craft-Making Experience of Traditional Baozi at Jinze Art Center
四月二十一日，來自上海英國學校的二十位同學身著橘紅色圍裙來到金澤工藝社陽光餐廳，簇擁在面點教師周圍，認真地聽取老師對手作面點的技巧講解。On April 21, fitted with orange aprons, twenty students from BISS gathered around the baker at the Sunshine Canteen of the Jinze Art Center, dedicated to learning the skill of pastry-making.
傳統的包點在同學們手中變幻著形態。傳統面點技藝以口相傳，以手相授。從小浸潤於西方文化背景的同學們爭相請教老師，並相互交流自己的母親是如何制作此類造型相似的包點。These traditional Chinese buns were produced in an array of shapes. Western students were able to consult with the baker, and discuss with each other how their mothers created similar pastries.
With sweat streaming down the student’s flour-dusted faces, the traditional baking techniques were explained to them through both instruction and demonstration. In addition to bringing back the traditional vegetable buns, the students and teachers returned home from the Jinze Art Center with practical memories of the baking experience.
