Students get tied in knots at Jinze Art Centre
April 21st saw Jinze Art Centre's Apparel workshop hosting a group of students, from the Puxi campus of British International School Shanghai (BISS), to try their skill at tying traditional Chinese knots.
The students learned quickly from the Jinze staff and showed great enthusiasm in their own efforts.
By applying fun in learning, Jinze Art Centre is able to stimulate interest in these ancient skills. "The warmth of the students' happiness permeates and is retained within the knots they tie", a member of the Jinze Art Centre textile workshop staff remarked, adding "Their smiling faces also express their great enjoyment of the art."
